Outcome: Trainees are able to immediately apply the knowledge learned during the program and perform as data scientists. Ahold Delhaize has a unique program for young professionals to position itself as an attractive employer.

Ahold Delhaize asked Xebia to support the design of learning journeys for young professionals and to train their analytics talent with a program combining in-class workshops, assignments and on the job coaching and support. Besides the design, the Xebia trainers and coaches also helped on delivering the right content, with the result that the analytics talent at Ahold was brought to the next level.

The main goal of the Young Professional Program is to build the internal capability of the employees. Furthermore Ahold Delhaize wants to increase its ability to recruit employees through a data science training program and helping with the onboarding of the participants, the customization of the courses, and a coach-the-coach program.
